Q: I have second question for this week. I am a 65 year old audiophile. I know I am heading toward, and probably over due for, a hearing aid. I used to religiously read TAS and Stereophile in my younger days. Quite some time ago, I remember discussion bemoaning the demise of analog hearing aids which, the consensus as I recall, were inferior to the digital devices which had replaced them at the time. This could have easily been 15 years ago. I am curious regarding the current opinion in the community is on such a basic component in an aging audiophile’s. system. Are there better or preferred devices from an audiophile standpoint?
