I have a preamp with a single line output. What is the best way to distrbute that output to several satellite systems? I want to isolate the systems, so they don't interact. Especially I do not want to compromise the sound in my main system.
A relay would let me choose a single destination. What I'm looking for is to pipe the same music to several locations at the same time. Living room (main system) plus kitchen, pool room, bedroom. That way you can move through the house seamlessly listening to 5he music. I have seperate systems in each of those areas. The runs are long -- up to 40' -- so there can he cqble interactions. That's what I'm trying to eliminate.

Certainly a relay switch would work, but the cable lengths from the switch to the various systems needs to be identified.
